|Proposal stories: Clayton & Lindsay
|I couldn't be more excited for this super sweet couple to tie the knot! Clayton & Lindsay are just wonderful people to be around, and they are rocking the whole "doing life together" thing. Ever since I met them and their cute baby boy Easton, I've felt like I've known them for much longer than I actually have! I have been sending Lindsay ton of wedding dress ideas and love her style! I cannot wait for them to make it official. So happy for Lindsay & Clayton!
|In Lindsay's words:
I like to say that mine and Clayton's love story and life together is pretty simple, and our engagement is no different. We started our friendship at a country music festival, "Winstock", which is funny because that's where you (Amanda) met your fiancé! .... So what I'm saying ladies is if you’re single go to Winstock! :)
In the past few years, Clayton & I have shared our first kiss on the back of a truck tailgate, built our home in a small town, had the most beautiful baby boy, shared several Coors Lights, and spent many nights watching the sunset in our backyard surrounded by a pond, fields, and gravel roads.
The specific details are just for Clayton and I, but in April when Clayton asked me to be his wife it was a simple night that consisted of just the two of us, a bonfire, our backyard, a few shared Coors Lights, some country music and the easiest "yes" I have ever given. I was pretty preoccupied with the s'more I was making so I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary until he was down on one knee and I saw the ring. I had absolutely no idea the proposal was happening that night so what an amazing surprise that was.
