After meeting up with this fun couple to discuss their wedding photography, I was super excited to capture their engagement photos. Dax and Emily are so relaxed and easy to get along with; I feel like I've known them my whole life! We started off at the adorable Minnesota-themed store "i like you" in Minneapolis, with a colorful exterior wall that Dax had scoped out while on a job a few months prior, thinking it would make a good photo location. Bride-to-be Emily adored the setting and especially the little fairy door we also spotted there. I thought the pops of color was the perfect contrast with their neutral outfits. Then we head to the Lynn-Lake area to find some graffiti, starting with the colorful wall of the Jungle Theater. Around the corner was the perfect black and white checkerboard wall to match the theme of their upcoming wedding. We kept the session going until the street lights came on. I cannot wait until their wedding at the end of the month! Congratulations, Dax & Emily!
